This post is mainly for all our valued customers in the Cheltenham/Cotswold area who drop off rugs at Animates Pet Shop, Charlton Kings. We are closing down the shop on 24th Jan.
We will be offering a collection and return service on a Sunday initially every two weeks starting 8th Feb. Please use messenger to contact me ( sue) and then we can sort it all out! We are in the process of texting all our customers asking them to look up Wigpool Horse Rug Wash and Repairs to keep in touch with postings about collecting days/dates etc. we would be very grateful for people to pop a note on their yard noticeboard about this change incase someone doesn’t get a text…..keep in touch everyone and thankyou, Sue x

Due to ever rising costs I am really sorry but I am going to have to have a price increase. From the 1st December turnouts will be £16.50 ( increase of £1.50) and stable rugs £11 …..( increase of £1 )…… I do not charge any extra for necks and combos…fly rugs, numnahs and everything else washable will be £11 a load ( approx 4-5 numnahs, 2-3 fly rugs etc)….Repairs I try very hard to keep as lower cost as I can and anything major I quote on. Dig out those muddy rugs while the sun is shining…..turnouts wash and reproof with nikwax £15 …I do not charge extra for necks and combos…£10 stable rugs fly rugs etc….if I can double up then that saves you some money. Repairs I keep as cheap as possible and anything big I quote on. If I can be of help then please just message me….. thankyou to everyone keeping me busy…..don’t forget the drop off at Animates pet shop, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. Rugs come home to me every evening and then Dai takes them back to the shop when done….many thanks, Sue x

This repair wasn’t as easy as it looks! ‘‘Twas a challenge all right” but it’s now done ready for pony to trash again no doubt! Really busy which is keeping me well out of mischief. I am extremely grateful to the weather of late as it has made drying rugs much easier…..Prices remain the same and the drop off at Animates Pet Shop for everyone around Cheltenham / Cotswold area is really popular. Please message me if I can help at all and dig out those winter rugs for spring cleaning while the sun shines…… Sue x

I have a few fly rugs for sale if anyone is looking …these 2 are both 6’9”…first one I’ve repaired the front buckle area and it is an equestrian king…the other just needed a few small patches and it has no make. Both in very good condition and useful to keep as spares. £15 each..can be picked up from Wigpool or at Animates pet shop Charlton kings Cheltenham. Please message me if interested. Many thanks, Sue

Something a bit different.. combo rug needing to change to a separate neck. My hours of recycling trashed rugs is worth it as had exact same webbing in my stash!
