Our closing down sale is so good that someone accused it of being a scam!! I can assure you that it's completely genuine but the 50% reduced prices - and the discount code - are not visible to the general public. It is a subscriber or local customer sale only. In other words, you can only access the 50% discount by subscribing and ordering on our website or by coming down to the shop itself. All other customers are still paying normal full price including non subscribers and anyone shopping on our Amazon, Ebay, Wayfair and B&Q stores.

Thanks to everyone who has visited us so far including over 400 new subscribers and a pile of Facebook referrals! They can all confirm that the sale is genuine since many are currently receiving their gorgeous goods - AT HALF PRICE!

Now I don't want any tears here but Second Nature Online is closing its homeware business (although there be something new on the back of it...!). Various reasons for closing homewares but mainly we just want to do something different! We have been going nearly 20 years but for the last year we have been building up a new business called Co-Here which is a co-working space and content creation facility with event hire - mainly for businesses.

I have regularly announced that I can do EVERYTHING! And I CAN and DO! But actually I would like to really focus on this exciting new concept especially when it involves the renovation and use of a beautiful historic building in Dumfries.

Anyway - I know what you are thinking. "Cut to the chase Karen and give us the feckin discount voucher for your closing down sale".

OK, OK I am getting to that part.

If you want our 50% discount voucher then you need to either visit us at our pop up shop in Newall Terrace, Dumfries (Open Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm) - or you need to be a website subscriber.

We have never been a fan of slash and burn sales for this sort of ethical product so we will not be slashing prices visibly on the website. Instead you just need to go to our website and subscribe - the box is under the main home page banner. Once you subscribe you will receive an email with the discount code!

For those of you who already received your code as existing subscribers thank you for your crazed clearing of the shelves! I had 5500 items to sell off and now I have about 5000. There is so much on there - everything is half price - no gimmicks. It all has to go!

It will take a while to close so I am not going to bid a tearful farewell just yet but I will keep you posted!!

Recognise anything? We are BACK! Second Nature Online will soon be open in Dumfries again after a town centre absence of about 10 years!! And it is making the most of the gorgeous space in the former Baptist Church in Newall Terrace. Second Nature Online will share its space with CoHere which is our new company offering co-working/ training/ content creation and meeting facilities. A business hub indeed!. A pop up shop is currently in set up mode and the CoHere facilities are pretty much good to go. Still dealing with a bit of upheaval so a little more time needed before launch.
