Its always cool to work on "new tech" 200mm forks, electronic droppers, hydraulic brakes or electronic shifting.

However, sometimes it's good to get back to the basics to work a nice rim brake road bike with a nice clean and classic setup.

This bike left the shop today after swapping out the cables to be teal coloured and a quick clean of the drive train and fresh bar tape.

An eventful tuning day at Ae Forrest today for ahead of next weekends round 2 of the .downhill .
4 solid runs in the bag and then a blowout on the fork on run 5 means it's on the bench for servicing tomorrow.
Thanks to for providing the post ride clean and for for the massive amounts of grip on a wet, sludgy technical trail that dried up over the day.

Was great to have in the shop today to drop off some tyres for ahead of his first race in this year's .downhill race at Ae forest.

Shop is unfortunately closed this Saturday as we are out at Ae forrest doing bike tuning for next weekend.

Huge thank you to all the brands and reps that have helped the shop get to this point.

Finally....... How freaking cool is our race kit 😍 🙌 😎

Shout out to Daniel, who stopped off at the shop today after a descent of dukes pass on a fixie with a wide spoke front wheel.
Doesn't matter what you ride as long as you ride.

PARTNERED RIDER PROGRAM.

Earlier this month we were stoked to welcome our first partnered rider. Thom Kirk

A talented rider who has grown up in Aberfoyle and has an extensive MTB CV for his age.

Thomas is now a member of the shop family and as well as learning some bike maintenance and other key bike shop skills he will also be getting extra level of support and has a couple brand sponsors agreed through the shop for this season.

Thomas has been competing in the SDA for several years and is a close family friend and embodies the ethos of the shop excellently and we are excited to help him succeed this season.

Keep tuned to the socials as we can not wait to show off the race kit in a couple of weeks time.

Was great to see this bike heading out the door this morning.
Scott CR1 team brought back to life with some new wheels and some brand new .
Cables changed over to be left lever rear.
Whole drive train ulrasonically cleaned.
Headset serviced and a brandnew set of Pro bar tape.
It is another busy week in the shop, but we have a couple of workshop slots available and also some big news coming at the end of the week.
