Well charity day at coldingham loch
The 12 flies in the picture are the only ones we could use and if you lose it, no more! 😂
It was windy and rainy, only lasted for 4 hours as the wind and rain from 2pm was to get worse!
It had been stocked yesterday I think I heard with some slabs and the 2 in the pictures are some of the slabs! I caught none but however after not tying for months and my first fly being a pink b***y won the prize of catching the most fish! 😂 thanks to David Menzies for the tip off! 😂 earned me a bottle of red w**e lol
I braved the cold, wind and rain, I was pretty much into 1 straight away and lost it due to some weeds, moved up into swinggate area, got in the water and the b***y was on the surface, I put rod down to sort the end of the tip and the line and then……ping the line shoots out! Lost it on the pink b***y, few casts later, lost another on the pink b***y, few more casts and caught on a fab, few casts later and eventually landed the 5lb rainbow on my pink b***y! I had spied about a dozen - 20 fish just in the middle where I was and casted then next minute it was like a steam train, jumped out the water twice and that was that……took me down half way on my backing and then snap! Lost the fab, b***y and apps worm 😭😂
Need to tie some more pink bo***es!
