📣 Calling all school and nursery teachers 📣

Would you love to build your school or nursery library and give the children you work with even more stories to enjoy? What if I told you that Little Leaves Bookshop could help, and you wouldn’t have to use any of your budget? 📚

By now, you will know I’m a HUGE advocate for literacy, reading for enjoyment and helping children discover the magic of stories - and I would love to support as many nursery and school settings as possible in stacking their shelves as high as can be with new fiction and non-fiction books from Usborne. 🌈

The best part - aside from not having to spend any of your own budget, and receiving a whole bunch of free books - is that this adds nothing to your workload, and I take care of all the admin and organising for you! 🙌

So if you work in a school or nursery, and would love to refresh your library or add some new resources in line with specific areas of the curriculum, I can help and would absolutely LOVE to work with you! ❤️

📚 Children’s books donations 📚

It’s been a little while since The Big Dundee Book Hunt, so I’m planning some more community initiatives at the moment 👀 🎉

If anyone has any children’s books that they no longer need / use, or if you are planning a clear out, I would love to take any donations! 🥰

Ideally they would be in good condition, without missing pages or tears if possible.

I would love to give some of your old favourites a new home, so if you would like to donate any, please comment below and I’ll pop you a little message!

Lovely weather for ducks, and for kids who love to get outdoors come rain, hail or shine! Just a shower, shouldn’t last too long! ☔️ 🦆

Blown away by the wonderful messages and photos I have received today after the first day of The Big Dundee Book Hunt 🥹📚🍃 Thank you so much to everyone for all the support and for joining in today - it’s just been so special.

Day two tomorrow - a little reminder of the parks we are covering is below. Please note timings are an indication only, and I’ll be updating on my Instagram stories when we’ve been to each location, so please do give me a follow over there if you can! ✨

A gentle ask too that wherever possible, one book per child in your family or group would be amazing - we want to let as many children joining in have the chance to find a book! ❤️

📚✨ THE BIG DUNDEE BOOK HUNT ✨📚

Timings and locations for the book hunt are live, everyone! I’m packed and ready to go, with some amazing helpers lined up and my trusty trolley ready to wheel 920 books out across Dundee over the next two days. 🥹

Please screen grab the locations and timings, and share with your friends and family and anyone you can! 📚🍃

I’ll stick to these timings to the very best of my ability - but will post throughout the day on my stories when each location is ready for explorers! ❤️

Also, I’d love to see your photos when you find a book - it would be so special to collate these into a little video, so please send them to me or tag me in stories! 🥰
