A massive thank you to everyone who braved the shadows (and rain) to join us for the Blackheart Market.

​To our amazing attendees: your energy was electric. To our traders: your talent and creativity are what make this event so special.

And a huge shoutout to the Wellgate staff for being such fantastic hosts, helping everything run smoothly and chasing off a shoplifter 🫣

​The support for local alternative business was unreal today:

💥 One trader completely sold out halfway through the day!
💥 Two other traders came incredibly close to empty tables by the final whistle.

We hosted our first ever 'Scrap Kilo Sale' on Saturday (Valentine's Day) where folks could pop in and buy preloved clothing for just £1 per kilo! We raised £92.98 on the day and saved 30kg of clothing - equal to 30kg of CO2 - from landfill. That's the equivalent of driving a car to Glasgow!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who picked up bargain and showed their community some love. All the money raised will be used to support those most vulnerable in our community to access essential resources like emergency food bags, toiletries and cleaning products.
