❤️🏡😍 One of Dundee’s most iconic buildings has been recreated in miniature.

Karen Bones of Bricks and Bones Scotland has unveiled a detailed model of the colourful former DMA Design offices on Perth Road, now home to Wee Mexico.

The building is closely linked to Dundee’s gaming history, having once housed DMA Design, the studio that created Lemmings and went on to develop Grand Theft Auto.

Karen revealed that she had been invited by The Creative Tank to display some of her work and decided the trip provided the perfect opportunity to tackle a Dundee landmark that had been on her to-do list for some time.

Karen recently made headlines across Scotland after recreating Glasgow’s fire-damaged Union Corner building, and has now turned her attention to a Dundee landmark that she says had been on her to-do list for some time.

Look at my latest studio buddy!! 💓 The lovely popped in today to drop off this wonderful piece. Bright colours and a historical site in Dundee’s creative history- of course it’s love!

Former Nethergate home of DMA Design who became , creators of Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto, it’s a wee reminder that from small acorns mighty oaks grow. Such a beautiful tribute to the impact the games industry has had ,and continues to have, on our city.

Every second Friday I have the absolute pain of getting my kids through to Airdrie to see their dad (the joys of co-parenting with a non-driver!) so have to shut up early. Today is one of those f'in Fridays (honestly don't get me started on the rage it induces) so pop in before 2pm if you want to calm me with a purchase. 😘

Shop is closed as usual on a Monday but we have a busy week ahead with a wee work experience pal joining us for the next few days. Looking forward to getting some outdoor sketching done (weather permitting!) and checking out some of the Dundee Design Month events together. Any recommendations?

Been slowly increasing my days in the shop while trying to rest as much as I can so this weekend (and next) I'm afraid we'll be closed.

Next weekend we'll be away to Manchester to see the amazing , so I consider that to be an "inspiration top-up trip", but this afternoon I'm off to see Dundee FC with the other half and that's rarely inspirational!
