It is with a heavy heart we advise that The Sutlery will cease trading after closing the doors for the last time on Saturday 28th March.
After battling through the nine years that The Beast from the East vent its fury on us, covid’s changeing habits and attitudes, various wars and global situation’s effect on our finances, our little shop became less and less sustainable -resulting in this action we must now take.
I stood today and watched three different supermarket delivery vans pass our door, picking off what remains of the trade upon which the Sutlery so relied.
So, to our precious few regulars - you have every right to feel abandoned, you have our heartfelt thanks. I know the shop will be missed.
