A serious Glenrothes.

30 years old, matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt and bottled at cask strength as part of Signatory’s Symington’s Choice series. This is big, sherry-led Speyside whisky, rich, well aged and properly luxurious in style.

Signatory continue to show why they sit right at the top when it comes to independent bottlers, consistently selecting casks of this calibre.

Our latest Malt of the Moment is the superb Mac-Talla PX, a richly sherried Islay whisky that’s proving very hard to resist.

Matured in a combination of first fill PX sherry butts and refill PX sherry hogsheads, this decadent dram brings together deep sherry richness with the unmistakable coastal influence of Islay spirit. Bottled at a robust 52.8% ABV, expect layers of sticky dates, raisins and treacle toffee, balanced by gentle peat and a touch of maritime character.

Macallan Speymalt 18 Year Old | Cask 14479 🥃

A superb single cask release from Gordon & MacPhail’s Speymalt series, distilled at Macallan in 2007 and matured for 18 years in a refill sherry hogshead before being bottled at natural cask strength.

These Speymalt bottlings continue to offer a wonderful glimpse of Macallan through the lens of Gordon & MacPhail, elegant, distillery led and always highly sought after by collectors and drinkers alike.

A lovely single cask example, and one well worth exploring while bottles remain.
