🇪🇹 Ethiopian Sidamo Taferi Kela Lot 25.29 with notes of Peach, cranberry, apple and jasmine.
🇬🇹 Guatemalan Qawale Single Estate with notes of apple, kumquat, yellow plum and milk chocolate
3 stunning Coffees, roasted by Vlad, the cobbled roaster, each unique and when paired with a freshly baked cinnamon bun next level nom.
Open 9am - 3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday

A wee break for the Cafe, but the shop will be Open as usual. Takeaway will be open Thursday to Sunday.

​We’re closing the main cafe for 2 weeks so we can roll up our sleeves and finish those summer upgrades! We’re expanding the shop, boosting our kitchen capacity, upgrading the ventilation, and adding a few extra tweaks to make your experience even better.

​What you need to know for the next 2 weeks:
​Farm Shop & Bakery: Open as usual!
​New Opening Day: Once the upgrades are complete, the shop will also be opening on Thursdays going forward!

​Takeaway: Running straight out of the bakery.
​Sit-In: You’re still welcome to sit in the cafe area, and we’ll have most of our regular menu available to enjoy.

​What’s coming next?
While the tools are out, we’ll also be training our team on our brand-new Autumn/Winter menu.

​As you can see, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes! Taking these two weeks lets us get everything perfect without having to work 7 days a week for the next month and a half.

The New City Campus is a fantastic building and you can have the opportunity to visit this weekend as we hold our second summer Food & Drinks Festival.

We understand that some may be disappointed that it's not in Pittencrieff Park but given the ongoing roadworks it just wouldn't have been practical to hold it there. However we'll be back there for the Winter Festival.

We are really looking forward to this weekend as it really is a first class facility for our city. Thanks to all the staff at the college who've worked with us on this.

Woodlea cafe is situated in the countryside with lovely views- you can see the Pentland Hills on a clear day.
There's both indoor and outdoor seating.
There's also a farm shop selling a wide variety of products.
Our freshly homebaked focaccias in various flavours are always popular.
This week our market fresh fruit and vegetables inculde some delicious produce from Pittormie fruit farm Fife.
We have really juicy minneolas which are a cross between a mandarin orange and a Grapefruit.

Calling all scone lovers!
We bake fresh scones each morning that we are open at Woodlea.
We have plain, fruit, blueberry, treacle, cherry and almond, date and walnut and cheese each week.
Our specials today are blackberry and chocolate, dark chocolate and ginger, rhubarb and ginger,, peanut butter and chocolate, chocolate and pecan, cheese, herb and jalapeño and cheese, herb and sun dried tomatoes.
We like to be adventurous!
