Hi everyone! 💕
It's been a while since I've posted! Life has been so busy between working full-time and raising my two little blessings that social media has taken a back seat.

I've never fallen out of love with Crafts by Claire—I just ran out of time. I've still been busy behind the scenes creating orders for my lovely, loyal customers, and I just wanted to let you know that Crafts by Claire is still very much alive and my studio is full of new creative adventures!🎨🖌️

Over the next few weeks, I'll be working on my First Day at School frames, so if you'd like to order one, just pop me a message. 🎒📚

Today as I was in my garden I began weaving with the long, elegant leaves of Cordyline australis ‘Purpurea’. The deep purple blades caught the light in a way that made them feel alive. Taking something the garden gives freely, and shaping it gently, without force. This gave me time to reflect on my post grad where I specialised in weaving for 3 years and spent many late evenings on the loom. perhaps a handwoven basket will be my new summer project! 😉
