I know that some of you have been disappointed that you haven't known about new stock or order book updates until it's too late. So after I was asked if I had a mailing list, I realised that this would be a great idea for anyone that would like to make sure they don't miss anything important! If you'd like to be one of the first to find out about new additions to my Etsy shop, when my order book is open, and opportunities to view new designs before they're advertised then contact me via WhatsApp, Instagram to give me your email address or email me at [email protected].

I hope you've all had a really lovely Easter weekend. I've had a little bit of time off (a few hours here and there) but have also started making a small collection of sewing accessories. Lightly padded and hand embroidered scissors cases (with scissors included!) and the cutest little toadstool pin cushion! I'm hoping to have a few available in my Etsy shop by the end of the week

When I first started out in the handmade gifts business, I spent a long time making things that I hoped would appeal to as many people as possible. This worked for me for a while, but I soon realised that I would never please everybody, and I couldn't put my heart and soul into everything I made unless it appealed to me, was my taste and my own style. I began giving my imagination more room to breath and started evolving and developing my creations. I think I can say that my work is now much more me (although this is still an ongoing process)! Not following trends (that I'm aware of anyway - I don't have a clue what's fashionable!) just making things that make me happy. Pictured is one of my hanging heart decorations in my current favourite colour. This and other colours now available in my Etsy shop ❤️
