The D. F & Co. Mackintosh Sling
The name of Mackintosh was the middle name of both Daniel Fraser and his son Donald Fraser and the maiden name of Daniels mother, so it was only fitting to name our new D. F & Co. rifle sling 'Mackintosh'.

Hand made to order here in the UK to our specification, it is an adjustable cobra-type sling in one piece of leather and embossed with our D.F & Co. castle logo. The castle logo was the trademark of Daniel Fraser, stamped on his best guns and rifles, with the depiction of Edinburgh castle which could be seen from Frasers shop on Leith Terrace.

The sling is reinforce stitched along its entire edge and has a nubuck finish brushed back with solid brass screw-type securing studs and designed for sling loops of 1in in width.

The craftsmen producing these slings for us have used natural, vegetable-dyed leather to give an unbeatable combination of suppleness and durability.
