I bought Doon The Watter as a going concern just over 4 years ago. I left the “ Rat Race “ and focussed on carrying on the previous good work and building the business which was living the dream for me. We focussed on excellent customer service, and as much as possible unique stock and this has worked well. Sadly as some of you know my health is suffering just now and it’s with such a heavy heart that I am putting the business up for sale. The property is rented from such a lovely landlord and the lease can be renegotiated. I’m looking to sell complete with fixtures, fittings and stock and for this successful business to continue and it is ready to hit the ground running.
We currently operate with 2 experienced members of staff on opposite shifts, and they have shown great loyalty and support which has been appreciated so much.
Happy for you all to share this and help keep this iconic independent business running to continue to serve the local community and tourists alike.
