Training update!

Longest walk yet — 16.16km in just over 3 hours! We took on Katherine’s Walk through Flitwick, Ampthill, Millbrook & Steppingley… and may have made up our own route at the end!

The best part? All those gym sessions are working — we felt strong, had energy to spare, and didn’t collapse after Millbrook hill!

Can’t believe it’s just 3 months until we take on the Gower 50km Ultra. We’re doing this to raise much-needed funds for the Bedfordshire Down Syndrome Support Group — please donate or share if you can!

🚨 Shameless Begging Post! 🚨

On July 20th, we’re taking on a 50km ultra marathon around the Gower Peninsula 🏞️ to raise money for Bedfordshire Down Syndrome Support Group (BDSSG) as they celebrate 25 years!

BDSSG has been an incredible support to our family since our youngest daughter was born in 2020, rocking her extra chromosome 21 💙💛.

☀️ 🌹 CLOSING FOR ORDERS ☀️ 🌹

This could be goodbye forever or just for now, I will see how it goes. For the foreseeable future I will not be taking any more orders. I will continue to make for friends and family and continue sharing these on here though.

Any current orders are in the process of being made with the aim of having them finished and sent out within the next 4 weeks.

Those of you that know me will know that I started this business after having my youngest so that I could be around for her and my then 4 year old. Leaving behind my career within accounts and finance at DHL of almost 14 years, was a massive step but was the right thing for our family at the time.

This little business gave me a little something that was for me and an escape from the world for an hour or so a day.

Going back to work and being Mum of 2 little ones who need me to be more present, especially Eliza with the additional support she needs alongside the cost of living increasing so much, has made it virtually impossible to keep on top of everything and has had me taking less than what I pay out and I’m left permanently exhausted and extremely overwhelmed, and something needs to give.

I truly hope this isn’t a forever goodbye as I love what I do, and seeing others wearing the items that I have made makes me so happy and proud. I’ll still be here sharing customers posts and bits that I’ve made for my family and friends.

I will be opening some slots over this next week to clear some of the mountains of fabric that I have in stock. So keep your eyes peeled for some heavily discounted products.

I want to say a massive thank you for everyone’s support that you’ve all shown me the last 3 years since opening SEALed with Sunshine & Roses, whether it be placing orders, following me or sharing my posts. You’re support has meant the world to me and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you 🫶🏼

I have a fair bit of in stock fabric and need to make room for some newness, alongside getting funds to fix one of my sewing machines. So to help me, I’m running an offer on mystery leggings!

Mystery fabric. You just tell me size gender and any definite no no’s and I’ll do the rest. I do have Autumn Halloween and Christmas in this offer so please let me know if you’d prefer to not have any of these.

This offer is valid up to size 6-7 years and you can choose different sizes if you pick more than one pair.

As usual I will only order enough fabric to cover my orders with very little left over so if you want something please do so before pre-order closes!

If you are unable to find your desired design, please do just pop me a message so I can update the website accordingly.

Orders placed within this pre order, will have a turnaround time of up to 10 weeks FROM the pre order close date. However I may close the pre-order early if I have lots of orders.

Once I have received the fabric and I have started your order I will be in touch to discuss any item specifications you have, for example colour of cuffs etc…
