For those just sweeping by my page who don’t know me here is a bit of info
For over 11 years I made dolls house miniatures and was lucky enough to have over 600 dolls in place in 4 different museums across the world ( Switzerland Germany and two in the USA ) many of the dolls were commissions. I sculpted using polymer clay, at the time this took a very big hold on my health as they realeased plastisers when baked which affected the chest. Then the laws changed , rightfully so , and most of the pkastisisers were removed. However this compromised the integrity of the clay, so I took the hard decision to stop sculpting. I miss it with every fibre of my being!
Being an avid crafter I also crocheted, made celebration cakes , sewed , played with concrete, wire, just about every craft I could attempt to fill the sculpting void.
Now I mainly make for charities , but to afford to do that I make items for sale as well just so that to afford the materials .
I have made many friends through my love of crafting, those friends have been with me for over 20 years .
I am hoping to share my makes, also how to make things do you can support your own charities close to your heart, there are so many struggling right now, along with each individual as prices for everything go through the roof. So support artists , the makers and the dreamers right now as they find their feet and struggle to keep going
Bear with me, I have a condition called mitachondrial myolitis amongst other disabilities that affect my sight so now retraining my mind and body to keep crafting for the sake of my soul.
