⭐️ GENERAL INFORMATION - HOW IT WORKS ⭐️
Here at Star Buys, we are an experienced and trusted seller, specialising in payment plans. This means you can purchase 1000s of products available on the high street but instead of buying them in full in one transaction, you can plan with us in advance a
nd start paying them off in instalments to suit you. Interest is added onto all products for this service and is already included in all prices displayed, some items will still work out cheaper than some national retailers, and as items are received once paid in full there is no debt and extra interest as risked with all credit cards. We have over 2000 products advertised here and they can always be found organised into albums in the photos section on our homepage. Also please feel free to request any other items that you may see advertised elsewhere as it could also be possible to get them onto a payment plan for you. Please see below for information on how to set up a plan. 🙂 (1a-1h)
Please decide carefully about your orders and please don't choose more than you can afford. If you start with a small easily manageable plan for yourself, you can always increase to it at anytime and shouldn’t risk cancellation fees as listed below. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2023.......
⭐️ HOW TO SET UP A PLAN ⭐️
1a - Pick your items by either finding them from the items advertised in the photos section on our homepage or request other items. The total prices are in the descriptions of each photo, all prices include delivery unless otherwise specified. The price advertised is the price paid, all items can be paid off in smaller instalments on our payment plans.
1b - Send a message to the page with a screenshot of these items showing the price and to let us know when you would be starting your plan and when you would like to receive these items or how much you can afford and on which basis I.e weekly,monthly etc.
1c - Then we will be able to work out a payment/timeframe agreement for you.
1d - Once the plan is complete the item/items will be dispatched.
1e - If you're having a few items, if you wish, We can ship them one by one, when balances reach enough to cover the items value and minimum balance. (See 2g)
1f - Postage is usually free, unless otherwise specified.
1g - Please note we do not hold stock of all items at the beginning of the plan, we purchase during or at the end of your plan. This allows us to have very flexible terms for our customers regarding swapping products to other ones, as from our experience customers products do change a lot from beginning of the plan to the end. However we are able to supply over 95% of our customers chosen products whenever they were chosen in their plan! If on the rare occasion, once paid in full at the end of your plan date, if your chosen item or items from our page cannot be fulfilled, alternatives will be offered or if not suitable, Any other products we advertise on our page can be chosen instead to the full amount, Or a credit note can be kept on your account to the full amount, Or a cash refund minus a 10% Service fee can be issued.

1i - It is your responsibility to get your plan paid off in time. Plan agreement dates cannot be extended and any not paid in time will automatically be cancelled the day after the agreement end date and terms of 3g will apply. During your plan we will try and send reminders if we notice they are needed, but due to the numbers of orders we have this is not always possible. However, balance updates are always available during your plan by requesting them via inbox.
🌟 PAYMENTS & LENGTH OF PLANS...
2a- Payments accepted - Bank Transfer (Can send individual payments or set up a standing order) - PayPal (Only by goods and services, Customer must cover fees).
2b -The length of a standard plan is chosen by you to a maximum of 26 weeks for single items/Savings/Vouchers, unless advertised as a promotion, or choosing to set up an extended plan (See 2c)
2c - When setting up, Extended plans over 26 weeks for single items/savings/Vouchers, can be available with an additional charge of £1 per every extra week required. (See 2f)
If the plan is completed early and all or some of the extra weeks arranged are no longer required, there will be no extra charge for those weeks.
2d - If multiple items/multiple plans, plans can be longer than 26 weeks with no additional fees, with individual items getting dispatched before 26 weeks when balances reach enough to cover the items value and minimum balance. (See 2g)
Or if you already have a plan in place with us, you can have a new plan with an and date of up to 26 Weeks longer than the existing original plan end date with no additional fees.
2e - Or you can arrange for all items to be sent out at the same time at the end of the plan, but if the plan is longer than 26 weeks an additional charge of £1 per extra week required will be applied when setting up. If the plan is completed early and all or some of the extra weeks arranged are no longer required, there will be no extra charge for those weeks.
2f - Payment plans can only be extended when initially setting up your plan. Maximum plan length depends on our current maximum plan cut off date, this can be up to 50 Weeks, please see our pinned post or inbox us for longest date available. Depending on your number of plans and chosen items there may or may not be extra fees for these extended plans, please see above for full information. Sometimes we advertise promotional plans for longer weeks than 26 weeks with no extra fees, these will be advertised on our page if and when available. For any plans longer than 26 weeks please be aware of section 1g
2g - Once reached, Balances should always have at least 10% of total order value in the account with a minimum of £20 at all times.
2h - No Payment Plans to end in the month of December.
🌟 DEPOSITS, UNCOMPLETED PLANS AND CANCELLATIONS.....
3a - No deposit required, you can start with any amount. You are then free to pay what you want, when you want anytime in your agreed timeframe, as long as there is at least 1 payment every 10 weeks. Also cancellation fees apply as listed below (See 3g) apply if not fully completed in your agreed timeframe.
3b - If a plan has no payment on account in a 10 week period (70 days), the plan will automatically be cancelled with the below terms applying. (See 3g)
3c - All Plan agreement totals must be fully completed within the timeframe agreed when setting up a plan, If failed to complete this will act as a cancellation with the below terms applying. (See 3g)
3d - Customers can set up new agreements and add/replace/remove items at anytime (see 3e + 3f) once all current plans have been activated and have at least £20 on account.
3e - Once decided on products and the plan has been activated, products can be changed at anytime to another item of the same value or items adding up to the same value with no extra charge, if they are changed to a lower value item or combined items, then a charge of 10% of the total price difference will be charged to the account.
3f - If any items are completely removed from part completed plans, then a charge of 10% of the items value will be charged to the account.
3g - If a plan is completely cancelled / Or not completed by the agreed end date / or 3b, there will then be a fee charged to the total balance of 10% of the total plan value with a minimum fee of £20. If there is new remaining balance, there are then three options. The new remaining balance now left in the account can be used towards other items available from the page. The new remaining balance now left in the account can be exchanged for gift vouchers/Cards, minus the gift voucher/card charge. (See 4c)
Three. The new remaining balance now left in the account can be put towards the balance of another existing plan. Or it could be transferred to someone else with an existing plan here. Or it could be transferred onto a new payment plan for yourself with a new agreed timeframe, however this will need to be arranged within a 10 week period (70 days) or the balance will be forfeited. Please note, If a customer has multiple plans, and if on one of the plans there is a fee to pay from a cancellation or from a failure of completion. If the balance of that plan is less than the applicable fee, balances from the customers other plans will immediately be deducted to cover the fee.
🌟 SAVINGS PLANS AND GIFT VOUCHERS/CARDS.....
4a - Regarding standard saving plans, you can save up a total amount on an agreed basis to a date of your choosing to a maximum of 26 weeks with no extra charge. Longer plans could be available. (See 2c)
4b - Once the plan is completed, you have two choices. You can use the full amount to purchase any available items on our page. Or the balance can be exchanged for Gift vouchers/Cards with the gift voucher charge applied. (See 4c + 4d)
4c - Gift vouchers/Cards are always available on agreed plans (maximum 26 weeks with no extra charge ) with 15% interest added onto the total amount required including postage, with a minimum £5 charge. (See 2c)
4d - We can supply so many different Gift Vouchers/Cards on our payment plans, some have a minimum spend and some have an extra postage charge, if interested inbox us your requirements and we’ll be able to price it up for you.
4e - Regarding cancellations and non payments on saving plans and gift vouchers, the general rules of the page above apply. (See 3a-3g)
🌟 RETURNS/REFUNDS....
5a - Once delivered only faulty items can be returned.
5b - If on the rare occasion an item is found to be faulty on delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. You will have 14 days to do this. After use if an item is then deemed to be faulty, again please contact us as soon as possible. Please note, we won’t always be able to do anything about it depending on the product and when it was purchased. In some instances, we may be able to contact the supplier and arrange for them to send out any replacement parts if possible. Electrical products will come with warranties, but will need to go through the manufacturing brand who should be able to fix or replace it, however we will be able to assist you in any way we can if required. Any eligible faulty products that are unable to be fixed/replaced and have to be sent back, once they’ve been received by the supplier we will be able to issue a credit note to your account or issue you a cash refund minus a 10% Service fee. Postage will be at a cost to you that may be able to be reimbursed depending on the situation.
5c - If on the rare occasion a product has been lost in transit, we will have to contact the supplier and they will have to investigate this. Unfortunately sometimes this can be a lengthy process. Once concluded in some cases they will send a replacement if available, if not they will refund us. Once we’ve received the refund, we will see if we can order from elsewhere. If we are then unable to we will be able to issue a credit note to your account or issue you a cash refund minus a 10% Service fee.
5d - It is your responsibility to cancel any standing orders you may have set up at the end of your plan. Any overpayments will only be able to be used towards purchasing items we advertise on the page or to be put towards an existing or a new plan. If it is to be put towards a new plan, this will need to be arranged within a 10 week period (70 days) or the balance will be forfeited.
5d - Money will only ever be refunded to a customer if…
1. We can no longer fulfil the selected item/items from our page (See 1g).
2. A product is deemed faulty and no replacement available (See 5b).
3. A product has been lost in the post and no replacement available. (See 5c). Lastly, this has been twice mentioned already but is very important...
