We cultivate thousands of plants at our 5-acre Production Nursery, available to purchase online and at our Retail Plant Centre. Our Retail Plant Centre has covered sales areas along with outdoor displays show casing a wide range of plants, many of which we grow ourselves. We also have a specialised room specifically designed for interesting houseplants of all shapes and sizes. There is ample parking on site and the homely Black Horse Café offering freshly ground coffee, teas, homemade cakes, sandwiches and daily specials. Please see Black Horse Café page for menus and booking. The Production Nursery boasts a large 16,000sq ft glasshouse and outdoor growing beds, allowing our knowledgeable team to propagate and grow a huge range of our own plants to be sold at the Retail Plant Centre. 🍎 Why not grow your own fruit?

A fruit tree can give you something to enjoy in the garden throughout the year... spring blossom, fresh green foliage through summer and, of course, your own fruit later in the season. 🌳

And if you’ve been thinking about planting one, now is a great time to get started. Cooler temperatures and wetter weather make autumn a good time for trees to settle in and establish their roots.

We have a selection of fruit trees at the Plant Centre, including Malus, Actinidia deliciosa and more.

🌱 Top tip: Choose a sunny, well-drained spot and keep your new tree well watered while it establishes.
