We've some new and exciting products on the sleeves this weekend 👀
After a difficult last year with Christine in hospital and recovering from a spinal injury, we’re back expanding our range of artisan produce. Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting products over the next few weeks!

We've been so busy preparing for this weekend that we forgot to let you all know our Easter opening hours! The good news is that we are open as usual, so don't panic! Our butchery counter and shop is fully stocked, so there's still plenty of time to grab your delicious free-range lamb, as well as much, much more.

Drop by this Good Friday or Saturday, 9am-2pm. You'll also see our vans driving around with lots of local deliveries this weekend 👀

First of all, we'd like to apologise to customers who tried to visit us today only to find 'road closed' signs suggesting that you couldn't access us.
We'd like to clarify that WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL 9am-2pm this Saturday, and YOU CAN ACCESS US, both from the North and South of Thornton Lane. Access is also possible via Husthwaite and Yeoman's Course Road in Oulston.
There is NO ROAD CLOSURE or blockage on Thornton Lane, despite what the sign suggests. While there are some roadworks at the bottom of North Moor Road, you can still drive down the entirety of Thornton Lane.
Due to the circumstances, we have extended our free local delivery, and for this weekend, there is NO MINIMUM ORDER for free local delivery to Easingwold and surrounding villages. If you can't come to us, we will come to you!

We thank you for all of your continued support. Small businesses are already struggling enough in the current climate without having to deal with confusing and incorrect signs that cause problems.

Anyone who’s visited our shop will be familiar with Christine and Steve, but did you know that they’ve been married for 38 years? (And together for 45!) let’s just say they know a thing or two about keeping the spark alive, even when the weather is dreary!

With Valentine’s Day this weekend, why not treat you and your loved one to a delicious, grass fed steak and glass of local, Yorkshire Wine? With everything you need to swoon your partner, you’ll be sure to keep the romance alive, even in this glum, grey weather.
