An overhaul service for this Trek FX, plus new hoops through the trade in scheme. If you’re looking for a really good set of carbon wheels for an even better price, you can trade in any set of old wheels and £400 gets you a set of these beauties! A selection of 30mm and 40mm gravel specific or 40mm and 50mm road specific covers most areas. With sealed cartridge bearings, ratchet drive free hub driver, you can’t get a better wheel for the money.

Complete build for in-house brand .cc this week. Performance steel, 100% hand built right here in the workshop, expertly painted in Hull by , wheels hand-built in Cornwall by and assembled back here on site.

Only three sets of hands touch these bikes, just the way it is meant to be. The trust the three of us put in each other to produce work which complements one another is something we have built over more than a decade.

It’s been organic, nothing forced, no egos, just a focus on producing great work on each and every build from design to ex*****on with mutual understanding and expectations.

I carried out some work on Gary’s last week. Gary bought the bike used and had been told the rear end had been replaced and dropouts aligned, but his wheel had been slipping in the stays which signalled this was incorrect. I spent an hour or so correcting this, drilled out and re-threaded a broken dropout adjuster screw and installed NOS screws courtesy of , thanks Ian!

I also went around the whole bike with the torque wrench whilst I had it and found numerous under torqued bolts which Gary can now have some peace of mind with on the over all build.

Our good friend Andy brought in his Van Nicholas for a new groupset a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, a crack was discovered in the chainstay and BB shell and a later ‘ring of death’ discovery was found on the fork steerer so the new build got a little fork upgrade too.

It’s not all bad though, because VN replaced the frame and new groupset day became pretty much new bike day and what a build it is!

Annual service carried out on what was a very tired looking Planet X.

New chain, cassette, cables, tyres and BB, a good clean and degrease and this bike has an entire new lease of life.

I had my buddy and very loyal customer ask for a full refurb of his 2016 Trek Emonda at the end of last year and just got it rebuilt.

stripped it the entire way back to bare carbon and gave it some fresh HOK Brandywine, it’s difficult to pick out in photos but this is a stunning colour.

There was a few seized screws in the cable stops, so I also had to drill some bits out and replaced the rivnut on the rear brake cable exit port.

I supplied a new 12 speed Dura-Ace rim brake groupset, new PR38 (probably the last ever set), a new headset, new BB, fresh rubber with the lovely Vittoria Corsa Pro and some new bar tape. I’d go as far to say this bike is now better than new, it has turned out stunning!

Now it heads out for its new life in Bourgogne to enjoy the rolling countryside and vineyards!

This Handsling was in the workshop today for some upgrades.
Wheels were dropped off today very kindly by and will look amazing during the Track National Championships in a few weeks.
Additionally the position has been altered to ensure that it is UCI compliant on the day.
