You probably know what we do.
But you probably don’t know everything we do. 👀⚡
Most people know GB Connect for smart homes, security, Wi-Fi, AV and connectivity.
What a lot of people don’t know is that we also have an experienced in-house team of electricians.
This morning was a perfect example.
We attended a local builders merchant following a report of an issue with a junction box supplying the yard lighting.
Safe to say, it had seen better days. 😅
Once opened up, we found significant water ingress along with severe internal corrosion and damage. Definitely not something we were prepared to simply patch up and walk away from.
The damaged equipment was removed, the external connections were made safe and the fused spur was relocated inside the building, away from the elements.
While we were at it, we installed an integrated programmable timer for the yard lighting.
Easier for the team to use.
Better protected.
And no lights unnecessarily burning away when nobody’s there.
Safer. Smarter. More efficient. ⚡
Not every upgrade needs to be complicated.
Sometimes it’s simply about spotting a problem, fixing it properly and leaving the site better than you found it.
