✨ Victorian-inspired elegance, beautifully fitted. ✨

A little something different from the usual vinyl — and we absolutely love the character of this stunning Victorian tile-effect design. 🤍

The intricate monochrome and neutral pattern creates the timeless appearance of traditional Victorian tiles, whilst offering all the practicality, durability and easy maintenance of quality vinyl flooring.

It’s not every day we get to fit a design quite like this, which makes this installation one we were particularly pleased to see come together. A statement floor that brings elegance, character and timeless style to the space without compromising on practicality.

✨ Another Beautiful Home Transformation ✨

We recently completed this supply & fit project for a returning customer who had recently moved home and wanted to make their new house feel more like them.

For the kitchen and hallway, they chose our stunning Novus Vinyl in Kempston 661M, creating a real statement while being durable and easy to maintain. We paired this with our beautiful Rustico Carpet in Caramel on the stairs, landing and living room, bringing warmth and a seamless flow throughout the home.

With two house bunnies 🐰 practicality was just as important as style, so we helped choose flooring that looks luxurious while being easy to keep clean every day.

We also love that they kept one of the carpet offcuts to use as a hallway runner for muddy shoes and paws – a great way to protect their new flooring and reduce waste too! 👏

Whether you’re after a luxury statement floor or something practical for everyday family life, we have flooring to suit every style and budget.

🌈 A staircase designed to make an entrance.

There’s something special about a beautifully fitted stair runner, and this one certainly doesn’t disappoint. Featuring a stunning neutral weave with striking pink and orange binding, it brings a fresh, contemporary pop of colour while maintaining a luxurious, elegant feel.

A fantastic choice for the summer months and a real statement piece that completely transforms the space.

The runner was supplied by our friends Limitless Flooring Solutions and expertly fitted by us, G & D Flooring, with the attention to detail and precision that every installation deserves.

If you’re thinking of upgrading your stairs, landing or flooring, we’d be delighted to help bring your vision to life.

✨ Luxury Living, Designed to Flow ✨

Here’s another look at this stunning full-house renovation in Morningside, where our customer chose our Florentine Oak LVT in a timeless herringbone design throughout the upstairs.

Installed seamlessly across the landing, two first-floor bedrooms (including a beautiful walk-in wardrobe) and the loft conversion, this floor flows effortlessly from room to room with no door bars, creating a clean, uninterrupted finish that instantly elevates the space.

The soft, natural oak tones of Florentine Oak bring warmth and character, while the classic herringbone pattern adds a touch of understated luxury. Paired with the neutral colour palette, textured feature wall, elegant furnishings and soft lighting, the flooring creates a calm, sophisticated atmosphere that feels both contemporary and timeless.

LVT isn’t just beautiful—it’s designed for real life. It’s incredibly durable, scratch and wear-resistant, and perfect for busy family homes. For households with children and dogs, it’s an ideal flooring solution thanks to its hard-wearing surface, water resistance and easy maintenance. Muddy paw prints, everyday spills and the hustle and bustle of family life can all be cleaned away with a quick sweep and a damp mop, leaving your floors looking as good as new.

This project is a perfect example of how the right flooring can completely transform a home, combining practicality with high-end design without compromising on either.

If you’re planning your own home renovation or simply looking to refresh your space, we’d love to help.

Happy Saturday everyone! Here’s a look at just a few of this week’s vinyl transformations… ✨

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend! We’re still out working today, but wanted to share a small selection of some of the vinyl flooring installations we’ve completed recently.

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks here at G & D Flooring, so we haven’t managed to capture as much content as usual. Behind the scenes we’ve been working flat out, and we’re incredibly grateful that our diary is already filling up through to the end of August with customers booking in advance. Thank you for your continued support!

Alongside our huge range of vinyl flooring, we also supply and fit LVT, laminate, carpets, stair runners, carpet binding, safety flooring and much more - offering quality flooring solutions for every home.

✨ A Home Transformation, One Room at a Time. ✨

Check out the transformation. 👀

When our customer moved into their new home, one of the first things they wanted to change was the flooring.

The previous homeowner had chosen a grey gloss laminate throughout the downstairs. Whilst it looked modern, it wasn’t practical for family life. With the back door opening into the living room, plus young children and a dog, the gloss floor became extremely slippery underfoot.

We supplied and fitted our stunning Elevate Dryback LVT in Hail, finished with striking black feature strips for a bold, luxury look that perfectly complements the home’s beautiful cream, beige and black interior.

It’s been a pleasure helping our customers transform their house, one room at a time. So far we’ve completed the parent’s bedroom and hallway in the same LVT and feature strips, fitted new carpets in both children’s bedrooms, and now the living room. The kitchen is next, and we can’t wait to see the finished home.

We’ve already had so many enquiries about this flooring, and it’s easy to see why. It’s 100% waterproof, hard-wearing, easy to clean and maintain, and offers the perfect balance of practicality and luxury for busy family homes.

✨ Sneak Peek | Luxury Stair Transformation ✨

A little close-up from a recent full house supply & fit project for a beautiful home renovation in Morningside.

Our customer chose Island Weave in Toffee, and the result speaks for itself. The rich woven texture pairs perfectly with the black spindles, warm timber details, and crisp white finishes, creating a timeless, high-end look that feels both elegant and inviting.

Beyond its stunning appearance, a textured woven carpet is an excellent choice for stairs. Its durable construction helps withstand the demands of busy family life, while offering added grip underfoot—ideal for homes with children and dogs. The subtle flecked tones also help disguise everyday wear, helping your staircase maintain its luxurious appearance for years to come.

We absolutely love how this staircase turned out, and this is just a glimpse of the finished project…

👀 More photos from the rest of this stunning home coming soon.
