We're Andrew and Rosie - we've been working in fantastic coffee shops since we were teenagers (a while ago now), learning the ropes and honing our barista skills along the way.
Hometown was founded by Andrew in July 2017 with roasting starting a couple of years later in June 2019. With a real drive to learn and plenty of enthusiasm, we bought our first roaster and as much green coffee as we could afford, just three bags at the time. It's a decision we're incredibly proud of.
Today, Hometown is co-owned, with Rosie joining the crew in 2023. Her arrival has allowed Andrew to focus even more on roasting and developing our coffees: something he truly loves.
We really look forward to sharing some great coffee with you on this continuing journey.
