It's peak lobster season 🦞and the ones shown here are silver plated. You can tell which are the lobster picks as they have a little lobster on them. Also in the pic are marrow scoops, not for a vegetable but for extracting bone marrow. Less popular these days however the marrow spoons can be used for Stilton too, although I have never actually tried them. Various customers have told me they use them for Stilton so I must give it a go some time. Stilton scoops are generally much wider so you would get a bigger plug of cheese.

Unusual vintage lampshade with dusky pink textured velvet roses and gold trim. This shade looks as though it hasn't been used, it's in immaculate condition. Measures approx 18"/ 45cms high.

Entry is £7 including parking and dogs are welcome. There is a tea room as well as couple of food vans.

DIRLETON MARKET ON THE GREEN

We will be there along with lots of other interesting stands all in the lovely surrounds of Archerfield Walled Garden who have kindly offered us sanctuary given the weather forecast for Sunday.

We love a Buddha... this one has a particularly contented expression on his face , don't you think? He is definitely very zen!

He is made from plaster that has been painted black. As you can see, there is a chip in the paint but easily rectified with a dab of black paint. He is large, measures approx 65cms.

We are open today 11am - 3pm. Find us in our little blue cabin at The Mart, East Linton, East Lothian, EH40 3AH
