😎 Planning your Saturday? Come and make a day of it in Retford!

🤩 Tomorrow is the best market day of the month when the traditional Retford Market combines with the Retford Farmers Market and a Craft Market to make Retford Big Market Day!

Not only will there be an even wider choice of delicious local produce and goodies, artisan products and handcrafted wares, there’ll also be fantastic, free, family entertainment (10am-1pm) with Mr Mouse Stilton-Walker AND the wonderful Hathersage Brass Band making a welcome return visit to Retford.

Retford also has a host of fabulous independent shops and a wonderful selection of hospitality venues for a quick cuppa or something more relaxing and delicious.

The town also has many interesting things to do on a Saturday – Art Galleries, an Antiques Centre, a Museum with a gallery dedicated to local Mayflower Pilgrims, an Arts Hub with a shop selling local craft & artisan items, and exhibitions featuring local artists, an Escape Room, a delightful local park and, of course, the beautiful Chesterfield Canal that runs through the town.

Join us at Retford Arts Hub on Saturday 12th September, 10am–3pm, as we come together to create beautiful knitted, crocheted and fabric poppies. 🌺🧶

Whether you can knit or crochet or would simply like to lend a hand with assembly, everyone is welcome! This is a flexible drop-in session, so pop in for half an hour or stay for a few hours. ✨
