A little reflection after returning from Craft in Focus Wisley.

It’s always interesting seeing which pieces people connect with most — this year our convertible designs, nesting tables and phone holders were clear favourites.

The Pilosa table also sparked so many wonderful conversations throughout the show.

We’ve come back inspired, with new ideas already developing in the workshop.

It’s been a bit of a mixed day today…
Kids are off on half term holiday but with their grandparents.

After spending part of the day deep in paperwork and preparing for the new financial year, I finally made it into the workshop to get some orders ready for dispatch.

Alongside that, we’ve also started work on a fresh batch of Avenir Lamps ready for our next craft show at RHS Wisley from 30th April – 4th May.

The less glamorous side of running a small business may not be the most exciting, but balancing admin with making is all part of the process and it always feels good to get back into the workshop.

Also, we have a broody hen so any advice is hugely appreciated!
