Hayton Lakes is a fishing complex of 7 lakes offering coarse fishing for the pleasure, specimen and match angler. Stretching across approximately 100 acres of the picturesque Nottinghamshire countryside, Hayton Lakes Fishery near Retford offers fantastic fishing for a variety of coarse fish. All 7 lakes are available to fish on day tickets (excluding Gadwall) which can be bought on-site at the tic

ket office or on the bank. Each lake is very well stocked with coarse fish, ideal for the pleasure, match and specimen carp angler. Fishery rules are available on our website. Our on-site cabin and ticket office currently offers toilets facilities and hot or cold water should you wish to make a drink or top up your flask. A few catches sent in from the weekend...

Andy Isham had a brilliant 36 hour session on Wigeon, landing 13 fish and losing a couple along the way. A big thank you as well to Andy for taking the time to clear up litter left behind by others – it's really appreciated and helps keep the fishery looking its best 👏

Jay Burrows-Hopwood also got amongst them on a day session at Shoveler, while Troy chipped in with this tidy 13lb carp from Shoveler

Rounding off July with some solid sessions from across the lakes 🎣

Tyler Weston had 5 from 6 runs on Shoveler, ranging from 14lb to 22lb 5oz, while Jacko also got amongst them on Shoveler.

Rowan had an excellent session with 8 fish to 20lb, and Kane Longden landed a 26lb 4oz from Gadwell.

Over on Kingfisher, young Billy had a cracking 20lb 12oz, with dad David Wright getting in on the action too.

Not a bad way to see out July!

A proper one to shout about... 👏

Congratulations to Kirk Gregory on landing Ben from Gadwell at an incredible 41lb 3oz. A special fish and one that doesn't come along every day. Kirk caught the big mirror on a Pro-Stim Liver bate.

Nice work Kirk – one you'll remember for a long time.

A few recent catches from around the lakes 👍

Steven Hames checked in from Gadwell, while Josh Betts had a great session with 5 fish, the biggest going 22lb 5oz.

Stuart McNab landed a 23lb 11oz from Goldeneye, Carp Harpman had 6 out from Shoveler despite losing 4, and Connor Fay rounded things off with 2 landed, 2 lost and a new mirror PB at 21lb from a 24hr session on Shoveler.

A birthday session to remember for regular Paul King.

Paul celebrated his birthday with a trip to Shoveler alongside Robert Paul Shippey, with both getting on the bank. Paul landed a 14lb mirror, while Rob followed up with a 16lb mirror.

Happy birthday Paul – glad you both managed a fish to mark the occasion! 🎣

A mix of firsts, PBs and a few familiar faces on the bank…

Colm Trewin made his 24-hour session count with a new PB of 20lb 2oz from Wigeon.

Seb enjoyed a cracking Friday to Sunday on Kingfisher, with the biggest weighing 17lb 3oz, while regular Rocco Tongue was back on Wigeon with another lovely fish.

Plenty of reasons to keep the rods out this June.

Clarification of rules
1.no rubish to be left on site
( either on pegs or leaving anywhere on complex)
2.The speed limit is 15mph
(Round the lakes or on access road)
These rules ar being blatantly disregarded this weekend 2 anglers were caught and have lead to expulsion and have been told not to come back this is not what we like to do however 1 was not a angler but a guest if you have guest coming to visit please make them aware as in future the angler responsible for the guest will also be ask to leave
