🍂✨ Today marks the Autumn Equinox ✨🍂

Tomorrow evening at the Atelier, we’re going to celebrate that beautiful transition with “Flowers & Fairy Lights” — an evening of creativity, flowers and warm, twinkly light.

The day and night are almost perfectly balanced — a little moment of harmony as summer gently hands over to autumn.

And I rather love the thought of the seasons passing the baton… 🌸🍂

We’ll be making beautiful vintage-style glass luminaries, using pressed flowers to create something that feels like a tiny piece of summer captured in glass… ready to glow through the darker months ahead. 🌸✨

A little bit of summer, carried into autumn.

One season handing over to the next. 🍂🌸

I can’t think of a nicer way to mark the change.
🕯️✨

Do feel free to wear flowers in your hair or maybe something sparkly 😍….come however you would like to for our little celebration session.

We have just two spaces left (edit: plus one cancellation spot) - I’ll pop the information in comments 😊

I can’t wait to see you there 🦔✨❤️

Love love loved Louise’s private one to one class yesterday. A lovely day of painting, chat, coffee and cake ✨

Louise chose my baby fox and butterfly design, and she did an amazing job 😍

It’s been a long while since we did this fox as a public class - show of hands if you’d like to see him on the workshop schedules again.

We had a guest artist at Scruffy Little Fox today!

The very lovely Mel Eldred taught us how to make a beautiful stained glass dragonfly ✨

Thank you Mel. Can’t wait for you to come back and teach us how to make a stained glass butterfly 🦋

Yes! Yes! and absolutely YES!…

We absolutelytootley will be holding another Scruffy Little Fox Flowers & Fairy-lights event!! ✨

I’ll be honest - It was going to be a one off BUT I’ve had so many messages from people saying how much they loved it - AND many of you now have a new hobby - as you’ve carried on making these at home!! 👈 LOVE this sooo much ❤️

So we’ve got to do it again! And I truly can’t wait!

Thank you so much to everyone who came and created the most gorgeous botanical luminaries! I’d love you pop your pictures of your lanterns below 😍

I had a pinch me moment this week — Scruffy Little Fox only went and got in a magazine!! 😍

For me personally it just makes our upcoming summer celebration even sweeter 💕

Can’t wait for that on Monday — Flowers and Fairy Lights - botanical luminaries workshop!

And the rest of the week has got an amazing line up of workshops:

Thursday is our Painting in Kings’ Park with Bassetlaw District Council and Sunday is our special Swan Painting day with Idle Valley Nature Reserve which will help to raise money for Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust.

In between that we have some exciting private events running so I’m really looking forward to a wonderful week.

Every workshop and event for July is full but do let me know if you want to join the waiting list for any of them.

And on that note I want to say a massive thank you to you all for your support. It means so much to me ❤️

Love Sarah x
