Little Rotter - Vintage 30 - Stratocaster Blues Ditty

Settings: Less / More 10, Volume 5, Bass 7, Treble 7, Gain 5, Top Boost Off, Bright On

A very uncluttered clean and simple little bluesy ditty played on the Stratocaster, volume k**b rolled down just a little to give an almost clean sound.

These sound clips are recorded directly from the amplifier with no additional EQ or sound enhancement / processing being added. The only effect you can hear is a very subtle reverb from a TC Electronics Hall of Fame Mini in the effects loop of the amplifier. A 2 x 12 Celestion Vintage 30 Impulse Response was used for the speaker simulation.

Little Rotter - Vintage 30 - Angry Stratocaster Chords

Settings: Less / More 10, Volume 5, Bass 7, Treble 7, Gain 6.5, Top Boost On, Bright On

Playing around with chords trying to go for an early Van Halen ish style and sound. Flicked the pickup selector from neck to bridge half way through.

These sound clips are recorded directly from the amplifier with no additional EQ or sound enhancement / processing being added. The only effect you can hear is a very subtle reverb from a TC Electronics Hall of Fame Mini in the effects loop of the amplifier. A 2 x 12 Celestion Vintage 30 Impulse Response was used for the speaker simulation.

Little Rotter - Vintage 30 - Blues Rock Les Paul Chords

Settings: Less / More 10, Volume 5, Bass 7, Treble 7, Gain 6.5, Top Boost On, Bright On

A short rock blues chord progression and riff. Using the Les Paul on the bridge pickup going for a tone and style perhaps similar to Gary Moore ‘Bad For You Baby’ era.

In the meantime here is a shot of the Rotten Apple "Little Rotter" 20 watt class A valve guitar amp head sitting on the new and awesomely compact 2 x 12 inch Celestion Vintage 30 loaded guitar speaker cabinet. Big enough for any stage and small enough for any home studio!

Another Rotten Apple Amps build in progress!!!

One lucky customer will soon be receiving this little beauty!

They are all lovingly hand built using very high quality over specced components.

20 watts of pure class A valve tone. All the sweet singing overdrive you could want! Plenty loud enough to gig with! And they also have a special ‘less is more’ control allowing the power section to be scaled down to get that cranked sound at lower volume.

Coupled with a dedicated buffered tube driven effects loop, this is a very flexible musical instrument.
