When one of your favourite designs deserves a summer makeover… 🍓☀️

I wanted to make a version of my strawberry bucket hat that was more suited to warm summer days. I used a soft cotton yarn, changed the brim design to a sweet scallop edge, and I think it still has all the cuteness of the original 🥰

What started as one little strawberry slowly grew into something I never expected. It became a collection, a turning point for Honey Peach Craft, and the design that gave me the confidence to dream a little bigger 🧶✨

I think it might take me a while to get over this! 🤯🥰🍉❤️

When I first started designing crochet patterns, one of my biggest dreams was to one day see a design of mine published in a crochet magazine… and that dream has actually come true 😭

My Watermelon Baby Bonnet is featured in the latest issue of Your Crochet & Knitting Magazine , and I still can’t quite believe I get to say that ✨🍉

This moment feels extra special as when I worked as a greetings card designer, before I pressed paused, there was always something magical about walking into a supermarket and seeing something I’d designed sitting on the shelves - knowing that something I had created had become part of someone’s special moments.
Getting to experience that feeling again through this new creative journey is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Going full time with Honey Peach Craft has been such a leap of faith, and opportunities like this remind me why I followed my heart and took that chance 🤍
