After nine days off last week and at least four of those days spent alone (introvert/extrovert?? I’m no longer sure🤷‍♀️🤔!!), I am thinking positively about ALL I achieved both personally and for Poema:
website changes,
five runs totalling 33km
enjoyed birthday celebrations,
rose bed weeded and manured, bulbs planted and a couple of overgrown shrubs given drastic haircuts!
endless loads of laundry (empty house/sunny day!!)
dusted off the sewing machine for a little project (wasn’t as perfect as I’d like but it was fun, so that’s the win, right!),
tackled some mending (buttons replaced, elastic replaced etc),
video call with a much loved friend who lives too far away,
sorted a small proprtion of the photos on my phone (argh, this is such an epic task, right?),
practicing the new songs for my singing group (I NEVER find this easy!),
planning and drafting Poema newsletters,
breathing in the sea air and watching the waves, tidying some of my Poema spreadsheets (why did I have so many?!),
a few gym sessions,
lunch with my auntie,
worked on some stock items of jewellery,
finished a necklace commission,
finally caught up with missed episodes of Sewing Bee 🪡🧵

…and somehow added another digit to my age in the middle of it all! 🎂
