Hi lovely followers. We are urgently in need of new volunteers. If you or someone you know are 16 or over, fancy fresh air and exercise. In return we will teach you how to care for our lovely birds of prey. We need all volunteers but especially people with skills I.e. builders, roofers, carpenters and electricians. We also need daily volunteers to help clean and general day to day tasks.
The rewards are amazing. You will be taught how to interact and fly the birds after 1 months trial. Please get in touch for more details.

Ebbw Vale Owl Sanctuary Competition

We are building a ‘Pathway Of Pebbles’ in the Owl Sanctuary’s Fairy Garden and would like to invite children to paint a rock/stone/pebble with a picture relevant to the Owl sanctuary, for example, it could be a painting of an owl, a fairy, a flower, or any other woodland animal.
When our ‘pathway’ has been completed, the Sanctuary’s owners, Malcolm & Pat will judge the best 1 out of 3 relevant age groups and then those 3 winners will receive a prize.
If the painted rock could be brought in with a contact number or Facebook name of a grown up on the back of it so that if they were to win, we would be able to contact them.
