We have been keeping bees on apiaries within Eccleshall since 2013. As our bees rarely travel more than 2-3 miles from their hives to collect nectar and pollen we can guarantee our products contain LOCAL honey. There are lots of reasons for eating honey and many studies which show the additional benefits of eating local honey. As well as producing honey in 1lb and 3/4lb jars (generally from about
mid-May) we use our own local honey and our own beeswax in our other products. Each chocolate in our Honey and Sea Salt Caramels is individually made and they come in boxes of 12, 6 or 4 in milk and plain chocolate. All packaging is biodegradable. Our beeswax wraps are made from pure cotton, our own beeswax, jojoba oil and sustainably sourced pine resin. They are an environmentally friendly alternative to cling film and other coverings. They keep bread fresh for ages and cheese for weeks. Use them as covers for containers, any leftovers, wrapping half a lemon, the end of a cucumber or as a sandwich bag. They are washable (in cool water), durable, reusable and can be added to the compost heap when you are finally done. With proper care they can last 8-12 months. The warmth of your hands softens the beeswax and the wrap texture allows it to be moulded around any shape. Our soaps are hand made and are available in Honey, Honey (Palm Oil Free), Milk & Honey and Honey-camomile-oats-saffron varieties. Each soap is approximately 120g. Our bee-themed cotton gift baskets are perfect birthday gifts or presents for special occasions and each basket contains a 3/4lb jar of honey, a set of 3 beeswax wraps, a box of 6 honey and sea salt caramel chocolates and a bar of honey soap.
