SSP is now recognised as the UK's leading provider of security screws online. Our range of Tamper proof screws include everything from Clutch head screws (One way screws) to 6 lobe pin torx screws (high torque anti tamper screws). In addition to tamper proof bolts, we also do security nuts, like kinmar removable nuts, kinmar permanent nuts and shear nuts. As part of our tamperproof screws range, w

e also now offer unique security screws, to give our customers the complete antitheft screw solution. To complement the above range, we provide security screw tools, like security screwdriver bits (eg Pig nose tool) and our new Clutch head removal tool. Another cornerstone of SSP's offering is our range of protective covers and protective cages, which provide a great way of preventing damage to valuable safety and security equipment. This range includes fire alarm call point covers, CCTV cages, fluorescent light protective cages and AED cabinets. We also offer thermostat covers (or thermostat guards as they are often known) to prevent tampering with heating/air conditioning controls. One of the unique offerings of SSP is our exclusive range of foam impact protection products. Designed to offer both body and, in particular, head protection, these metre lengths of yellow and black hazard foam can also be used for wall protection, RSJ Protection, UBS protection and general bump protection. In 2010 we launched our own Visitor Passes. This range includes both standard visitor sign-in books and personalised visitors books. Our extensive range includes school visitor passes, key registers, contractor visitor books and permits to work. Also in 2010 we launched our range of bicycle storage racks. Our single bicycle parking rack cost less than £20 each. We also do multiple bike racks from two bikes up to our 6 slot bicycle racking. Safety signs is also a major part of SSP's offering. Our range of 7000 signs covers everything from the standard signs like fire exit, CCTV signs, no parking signs and no ball games signs through to the less common wet paint signs, men at work signs and hazchem plates. We also have the facility to make custom made signs. Finally, some of SSP's other market leading products include our unique talking sign, our easy to install disabled toilet alarm, the popular small office, shop and domestic key fob door entry system, lockable poster cases, our range of convex mirrors / Safety mirrors, and our comprehensive selection of Burton safes, Medical cabinets and floor safes.

Hello

We thought we would introduce ourselves and put a face to our company name. We are Hayley and Gwyn Ewens, co-owners of SSP Direct Ltd.

As a relatively small business, every single order we receive makes us genuinely happy and grateful, we hope that this translates into the service that we and our team provide. As well as doing our own jobs, both Gwyn and I are very much part of our lovely team, pitching in to get the job done. At cut off time you will often find us helping to get orders out on time, if not early.. we always challenge ourselves to try and exceed our customer expectations. I have been known to drill covers wearing a suit!

We have a new home! We’ve moved in snow storms and torrential rain, but were rewarded with a glorious rainbow on our last day. We are looking forward to being part of our lovely new community here just up the road in Edgworth.

Whilst we are sad to say goodbye to Holcombe Brook, this move will enable us to hold more stock, grow with demand and hopefully improve our lead times, providing an even better service to those that make it all possible.. our customers.

Remember to keep shopping independent. Behind SSP Direct are real humans, who love what we do and will always go above and beyond to make things happen. Most products are available on a next day service, we answer our calls within 5 rings, no endless options to select and no bots on our chats.
