Honestly I tried ‘slowing down’ but the truth is, I’m just not built for anything but living life at full pace. I get it from my dad.

I hear and read so much about finding balance but I’ve realised that everyone’s balance looks different. For me I’m at my happiest when I’m chasing a goal or a dream. I don’t believe that anything is out of reach. Sometimes I have my doubts or question myself but then I look back and remember that uve achieved every single thing I’ve put my mind to. I’ve survived every bad day.

Life is for living and I’m determined to live every single bit of it.

No one handed it to me. Built from scratch and still building. But so so grateful 🤍

These are the moments that make me feel proud and like I’m successful. Not the awards. Not the number of likes on social media. Not the turnover.

I felt more proud and grateful of the life I built today knowing I could go for a horse riding lesson with my daughter on a random midweek afternoon than when my business hit its first million.

I’ve worked so hard to get here and it’s not easy but I never take it for granted.

One of the most important things I wanted to ask about was small businesses.
Small businesses are 99.9% of all UK businesses. They employ 60% of the private sector. They generate £2.8 trillion.

So I wanted to raise the point that with all of that contribution, so many small businesses still can’t scale. Small business owners are working harder than ever, often to stand still or go backwards. It’s exhausting.

The potential is undeniable. The barriers are real. And the people running these businesses; many of them women, many of them doing it alone, deserve a system that actually works for them.

We are not a footnote in the economy. We are the economy.

I appreciate all the support on this reel because it allows us to have these conversations and get the opportunity to raise these questions with .

Getting an email from to interview the Prime Minister was not on my 2026 bingo card. But when that email came in (after checking it was real), I knew I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to ask the questions I know so many families would like to have answered.

I’m not a journalist. I’m a mum. I’m a business woman. And I was wayyy out of my comfort zone with this.

But no question was filtered. The experience was great. And No 10 gave me free rein to post this however I wanted to. So I’m going to post as I always do; unfiltered, open and honest.

So this is part 1 of my chat with the Prime Minister
