Handmade in Scotland. A plethora of beautiful things Having studied and graduated in Fashion Design I have a mass of fabric sitting around, waiting to be used.

Brodie & Pip was launched as a transition and use of time between graduating (from 6 years at University) and applying for 'real, adult' jobs. I decided after year of doing a Masters in Fashion Management I would start making and creating again, little things to use said fabric and put good use to my time. The more time spent developing my wee business the more I hope to do so full time one day. H

owever, I do have a part – time job along side Brodie & Pip to be able to sustain myself as I continue to develop my business. The brands mantra is wasting as little as possible, sending a minimum of unused fabric to landfill. We source fabrics from various locations, that promotes a sustainable business and supports various charities and my own impact on the environment. Creating handmade products in Scotland, each item is bespoke and uses a lot of high quality Scottish fabrics, promoting the rich heritage and skills of my country.

Our Robin red breast here encapsulates Scotland well by having both Tweed (Harris, of course) and Tartan featured, two very important textiles of Scotlands fabric heritage.

Brodie & Pip’s Monday Media is coming in a day early to wish you all a Happy Easter 🐣
It’s also coming from Kinloch Rannoch as opposed to the capital for a wee change ✨.
Hope your all having a great weekend whether that be with eggs or not. I was lucky to spend part of my Easter at Loch Rannoch - a very special place for my Dad’s side of the family & so after 5 years (2 being in lockdown and the ones before being at work) it was absolutely magic being able to spend a slice of time up there 🧡 on what is our annual week timeshare.

Spring is that you? 🌷
In true Scottish style, we’ve had a wee teaser taster of warmer days but for now the thermals are back 😂
It’s hard to avoid the fact Easter 🐣 is round the corner (mini egg consumption is soaring 🤭)
We have our fabric card Spring/Easter collection live on Etsy for if you wish to send a loved one a wee bit of happy Mail. 💌
All the fabric used for our cards are cut offs/scraps that could have otherwise ended up in landfill - so not only would you put a smile on a friends or family’s face, but, your also using a sustainable option to do so. 🌟

Happy Monday & Happy New Week ☀️
Before taking on full time hours at my other job I made up a customised bunting order for a special, big birthday. The brief was ‘grey and mix, match teals’ - if you’ve been here a while and know Brodie & Pip’s brand colours, you’ll know this was not going to be a problem 😂
So with a mix of cottons, velvet, silk & leather (the latter two being fabric from my graduate collection at uni ) the birthday bunting came to life.
This bunting was used to decorate for 30th birthday in February and will be used again later on in the year for more celebrations. 🥳
It’s always such an honour to make bunting or any product for customers big celebrations, to see hours of work hung up and the smile on those customers (and loved ones) face when they see it, is priceless.🥰
Personalised Bunting for a birthday can be used year in, year out depending on the layout or for a special event can really add the finishing touch. 🌟
And it can then become a wonderful memory with extra ideas to continue the personalisation of which I suggest and pass on to customers.

Hello February, you took your time!
Hello to the new year & signs of new life and in particular now the gorgeous, delicate snow drops. This picture I took last week at the Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh. I love the contrast of growing them here with the dark, harsher ‘Black Grass’.
Apologies for the silence here - January is always a switch off month for me, and this year it was really needed. 2021 was the biggest yo-yo year for me, it was the worst of sh*tshows (turns out 2020 was a walk in the park) contrasted with some of the best, exciting and honoured moments.
2022 so far has been good, amidst coming to terms with certain things from last year, with lots of personal projects on the go for myself and friends. 🤩
Personal goals have really come into focus for this year (again 🥴), which will mean I will be working more elsewhere than here 😢 but I am determined to .
So kicking off February with a customised Brodie & Pip bunting order with some gorgeous colour choices.
Thanking you all for sticking around and supporting me - whether it be a like, comment, share or purchase - it honestly always means so much (particularly when I’m so rubbish at consistent social media-ing).

- Unfortunately it appears that our poor posties and depots are struggling so we can’t now guarantee when parcels will arrive. Once we dispatch parcels it’s well and truly out of our hands.
- Orders will continue to be posted out this incoming week but it may not make it for Christmas. If you would like 1st class or any other service please contact us.
- If you live in the Edinburgh area (within the bypass) then hand delivery will ensure it is with you before Christmas.
- Brodie & Pip’s ‘12 days of Christmas Decorations’ are stocked at in Stockbridge if you want to avoid any postage issues on those items.
