Wm. Sinclair & Son - Bagpipe Makers traditional hand turned Highland Bagpipes & Chanters From the world famous Pipe Major, Composer & Reedmaker William Sinclair Snr.

FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS and over a hundred years, the Sinclair family of Leith have been involved in the bagpiping community. through his son Pipe Major, joiner and Bagpipe Maker Willie Sinclair and Grandson, Master Craftsman, Allistair Sinclair. THROUGH THREE GENERATIONS Originally based in a rented warehouse space in Quality Lane (now Maritme Lane), the business moved to 14 Dock Street, then around 1946/47 moved again to it's current location at the corner of 1 Madeira Street, Leith. The Signature Sound and Quality instrument continues to be crafted by hand in the iconic Madeira Street workshop.
