Every month, our members will receive a surprise book and matching wine through the post. Each box includes the book of the month - including new independent authors as well as all your favourites. We pair each book with a full-size bottle of wine hand-picked to compliment your book. We have even includ
ed an information card to explain what to expect from each bottle of wine and information about the book and the author. Members can then log on to our exclusive forum to chat to likeminded book and wine lovers and discuss what they loved (and didn't love!) about this month’s pairing. Each box is £25, and members have the choice of three membership options: 1 month, 3 months (the perfect gift!) or 12 months. Words With Wine is commitment-free, and members can cancel at any time. How it all began
Lockdown has been hard for everyone across the entire world, it has stopped us from attending social activities we once took for granted and kept us locked up in our homes with far more spare time than we ever dreamed of! Words With Wine was created by Anna Smith during lockdown while reminiscing about her separate book club and wine club she attended before lockdown. Missing the community aspect of both clubs and never straying far from her go to wine or book genre, she decided to combine the two and create the UK’s first wine and book subscription club. The mission of Words With Wine is to encourage wine and book lovers to try different wines and read genres they might not pick themselves, all while supporting new authors, small wine regions and independent suppliers.
