Circa 1870. A stylish walnut and leather upholstered Italian X framed chair, the embossed leather back & Sear, the back with embossed Lion, with leather held in place by very stylish spaced bronzed studding, the uprights with a pair of spinks heads, the shaped chamfered arms terminating with mythical animal heads, supported with shaped uprights, the base of two X frames in walnut braced by a bulbous stylish stretcher, the front legs with foliate carving finishing on large animal feet front and back all with great colour and patination.

Circa 1870. A two piece bulk head clock and barometer set, the clock face with the name ‘Kelvin, White and Hutton London’, stenciled on it, with Roman numerals and single winding hole, second hand and fast/slow adjuster, with a heavy cast brass hinged bezel with bevel edge glass, the barometer with decorated face and sweeping adjustable arm, with similar bezel with bevel edged glass. The clock will be serviced and working.

Look at these impressive carvings of the Green Man...

Circa 1860. Large Victorian, one-piece carved oak Flemish kneehole writing desk. The rectangular top with a foliate carved fore-edge and a gilt-tooled, red leather writing surface (quality handmade replacement) and low ledge back. With three frieze drawers with foliate carved fronts, lion mask handles and original brass locks. Supported on banks of three matching drawers, flanked by carved pilasters. The desk is a single piece with its original brass locks.

Circa 1760. An early George III mahogany bureau of desirable proportions, the solid top in nicely figured mahogany, the flap with wonderful colour opens to reveal a well-fitted interior, including various pigeon holes with shaped tops and multiple drawers, and a small cupboard with divisions and drawers behind, the flap held in position by the original lopers, with a configuration of four graduation drawers, with cast brass swan neck handles with elegant back plates and proudly decorated escutcheons, beneath the bottom drawer is a stylish moulding that runs around the sides, all resting on four squat-shaped bracket feet.

Mirror, mirror on the wall...✨

Circa 1860. Mid Victorian arched giltwood overmantel mirror with original water gilding. Surmounted by acanthus and scrolled foliate decoration, the moulded and fluted mirror frame with small side extensions to the base with further foliate decoration. Much of the original water gilding present and the original mirror plate in excellent condition.
