Hi friends and fellow musicians...I'm back...opened shop yesterday after 2and a bit months.....I'm still alive and making the music.
I was so touched yesterday on how so many people popped in to say how glad they were to see me back...even as I was walking in the kirkgate...so many of my wonderful customers and friends told me how much they missed me ...I was touched...leith is like a "village" those days. Everybody saying how glad they were to see me back......do tell your friends I'm still alive and open every day except wed and Sundays

What I find hard is finding drummers that can read drum arrangements..I.e. drum music...loads of great drummers out there, just haven't learned to do the dots...I would have thought that it's all part of bring a musician...same with bass players...I remember the bass player from the Michael Jackson production telling me that when he went for the audition...there were loads of great players, but he got the job because none could read the music..but he could .....he got the job...he has been allover the world with this show....the musical landscape definitely opens up when you can read music...please share this among your friends if you think it has any relevance to them..enjoy the music everyone.
