WBD 2026 is just around the corner and as it is The National Year of Reading, Ginger and Pickles has linked up with a number of primary schools in Scotland to ensure every child receives a book.

Someone has been “beary” busy sorting and packing WBD books 📚 and this year we will have managed to put a book into 1300 young hands. Don’t worry we have lots of WBD books in the shop too!

Tokens can also be redeemed for a WBD book or to receive £1 off another title of choice.

We will also be holding a WBD 2026 competition so keep a look out on our website or visit the shop and keep reading! ☺️
