So we got flooded during extreme rain last month.... demoralising? Not really.
We know that climate change will bring more extreme weather to Scotland and across the world - this flood has just reminded us how important it is to make sustainable transport affordable and accessible to everyone. (Especially if that transport mode is also joyful and fun!)

In August extreme rain flooded our basement. Our incredible team managed to rebuild and re-open after just eight days- but an empty workshop in August counts for a lot:
~ 30% fewer bikes refurbished than last month
~ 40% fewer people getting onto new bikes from our shop
and that means thousands of pounds in revenue which isn't supporting our communities work, too.

We want to raise £10,000 to support all our work, in our shops and in the community, despite a very difficult August. Your donation, big or small, will be hugely appreciated!

The Bike Station in Tollcross is back! We are open for bike sales, repairs, wee bike library pickups and all our usual services. The Bike Station Tollcross will be back soon! We are so excited to open the doors this Friday (28 August). Sales and repairs will all be available as usual - however fix your own bike (FYOB) will not run this Saturday.
