Cult is hiring for a full time permanent barista role! We are looking for a bean enthusiast who wants to learn and grow with the business. Experience greatly preferred, a good attitude and friendly face an absolute must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Dialling in filter and espresso coffees
- Working as part of a team on a busy bar
- Helping to develop our seasonal drinks
- Passion for coffee and learning
- Communicating our coffee and retail offerings to customers
- Light admin duties
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace

The knitty gritty:

35 - 40 hours a week

INTRODUCING 🔥Mutambu Hill🔥

Founded in 2015, Migoti Coffee works with farming communities across the mountains of Rural Bujumbura, focusing on quality processing, transparency, and strong market access for producers.

After harvest, cherries are delivered to Migoti’s washing station before undergoing a controlled fermentation.

The coffee is then shade-dried for five days before moving into full sun, where drying continues for two to three weeks.

This Coffee has an INCREDIBLE boozy and heavy sweetness, and a floral back end. Try and pull as much of that sugar out as you can. We think it’s one of the best coffees we’ve tasted from this area!

So we’re still over the moon about winning Best Packaging at the 2026 Design Awards! 😍

If we don’t say so ourselves, we loooove our new branding, so having an award for it is the cherry on the cake.

The bean holders AKA the coffee bags feature our new branding elements, namely the home symbol and the triple faces. The first is for COFFEE THAT HITS HOME and the second represents the Cult community.

We are lost in El Sauce 🔥

Introducing Franklyn Madrid Anaerobic Washed Honduras, originating from El Sauce farm in Santa Barbara.

Coffee at El Sauce is grown within a protected mountain region, where farming has shaped local culture since the mid-20th century.

Cherries are hand-picked, then undergo extended fermentation—first whole, then as parchment—before careful washing and slow drying on solar beds for up to 18 days. Each stage is closely managed, with hand-sorting to ensure consistency and clarity in the final cup.
