Strawberry Corner Garden Centre

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬.

We would like to thank you all for your support since the news came out last week of our closure. It was a shock to us all and it was only a few days before the closure that we were aware there was no alternative route other than liquidation.

Those of you who have reached out to say you purchased a 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝, these were sold with good intentions and at Christmas time, we were trading with no sight of what was to come. Please accept our apologies for any disappointment you feel.

If you have a 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝, please email us your details to [email protected] and the liquidators will respond to you.

If you have an HTA card, these are accepted in over 1000 garden centres across the country and are not affected by our closure. Locally, you can spend these vouchers at Garden Centres such as Merryhatton, Dobbies, Mortonhall & Dunbar.

Again, we apologise for our closure and thank you again for your support over the last 32 years.

It is with great sadness we must announce the closure of Strawberry Corner Garden Centre.

Post Covid, rising costs have been crippling, not to mention constant roadworks in the local area reducing our footfall dramatically.

We tried tirelessly to make things work but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

We would like to thank each and every one of you who shopped with us over the past 32 years, many of you became friends. We can only apologise that this has been cut short and we will no longer be part of the East Lothian community.

To our staff past and present, who many of were more like family, we will always be grateful.

As a family, we are absolutely heartbroken that our lifetimes work has ended this way, however it has been out with our control, and the company is now in liquidation.
