I’ve been staying at my Mum’s house while my bathroom has been getting done. We’ve had every hurdle imaginable, but it’s finally finished! Wee Pina Colada to celebrate!

I’ve loved being back at my Mumma’s house. I still walk through the door saying, “Hola Mumma,” even though she’s no longer here.

Kuro has had the best time too, chatting to everyone who walks past and making lots of new doggy friends.

Kuro still looks for her every time we come in. He has a little cry when he can’t find her. 🐾

🎀 My first birthday without you, Mumma… another first. No birthday shopping trip this year 😢 let’s be honest, we never really needed an excuse to go shopping. 💕 I miss you so much. I think about you every day and still talk to you as though you’re here. I’ll love and miss you forever. 🎀

The 30th of June is here
A day I’ve always held so dear

Busy wee day today. Michael and I were in court this morning as witnesses regarding our cars being stolen. 🚗
Then it was time to say a final goodbye to one of Mum’s friends, Pat. 😢
After that, we collected Mum’s rings, which I’d had resized to fit me. 💍 It means so much to be able to wear them and have a little piece of her with me every day.
We then dropped off a very special crochet blanket to St Columba’s Hospice. Mum had been crocheting squares while she was there, and after she passed, her cousin’s friend continued working on it. Sadly, she has since passed away too, but her daughter lovingly finished it, and today we were finally able to return it to the hospice. A beautiful piece made with so much love by some very special ladies. 🕊️
To round off the day, I’ve just dropped my boys off at Kristian’s football presentation. 🏆⚽️
And now it’s me time as had a s**t week… 😢🍹🍷
Life is too short… 💕

💕After the amazing care my mum received from St Columbas Hospice, I’m organising a Charity Afternoon at Leith Dockers Club to help give something back.💕

There will be DJ Daz Glaz, cabaret entertainment, raffles and much more, it will be a fun afternoon for a great cause.
