Online Sales Assistant - The Commemorative Coin Company
We currently have an opening for a new full-time member of our online sales team.
Our Company sells commemorative and replica coins and medals, as well as other collectable items. We have a strong online presence, selling on numerous platforms including our website (comcoin.co.uk), eBay, Amazon, and Etsy etc. We also supply our items wholesale to other companies (such as Amazon), who then sell them as their own products.
You will be working from our retail premises (Edinburgh Collectables), on Leith Walk EH7. It is a fast-paced environment, with up to 300 orders per day (higher during peak trading periods). There will also be light shop duties (holiday cover etc).
Main roles
• Picking, packing, and dispatching our online orders, received through all online marketplaces.
• Cross-listing product lines between platforms.
• Online restocking and maintenance of websites.
• Upkeep of storage areas, and maintaining a clean and efficient work area.
• Re-ordering packing materials and supplies.
• Liaising daily with Royal Mail and other couriers, booking in collections, and dispatching through their networks.
• Handling any returns, issuing a replacement or refund as required.
• Unpacking, checking, and listing new stock.
The successful candidate will need to have strong computer skills, be enthusiastic and efficient, with very good attention to detail. Strong communication skills are also very important as the role will involve dealing with customer queries – both online and in person.
Existing knowledge of the above trading platforms will be a strong advantage, especially the workings and mechanics of Amazon - MFN, FBA, and Vendor (we have regular weekly vendor shipments of up to 1500 units).

Salary: This will be applicant dependent, but a minimum starting salary of £20,000 will be applied. This can rise quickly with progression.
Shift Pattern – Five days, 10.30am – 18.30pm
