This polished ammonite (Eparietites Sp) from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, England is another specimen that we are taking to the Oxford Mineral & Fossil Show this coming weekend !

It has been beautifully prepared and polished, has detailed sutures, excellent calcite preservation and a good keel.

We’ve had this for a few weeks now ready to take with us to the show and it looked amazing on display 😃

Here are some more Scunthorpe specimens that we will be taking to the Oxford Mineral & Fossil show, which is less than two weeks away !

Sunday 3rd March, 10am-4pm, free entrance and parking, located at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB.

Here are a few of the Yorkshire & Scunthorpe specimens that we will be taking to the Oxford Mineral & Fossil show, which is less than two weeks away !

Sunday 3rd March, 10am-4pm, free entrance and parking, located at Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, OX5 1AB.

This is a lovely ammonite specimen from Madagascar which has been cut and polished to make a pair, perfect for display.

Diameter was 25cm so is a large example, with nearly all chambers being filled with calcite, amazing preservation. Now on its way to its new owner who is looking forward to its arrival 👌

We have smaller and larger ones still available, just give us a message or call.

Got a few pictures of these stunning Whitby jet specimens before they were packaged and posted to Taiwan earlier today. Some good solid pieces, lots of detail and some ammonite and shell impressions also showing.
