Job completed for my Grandson just before his first birthday, Memory Bear and Cushion using all his first clothes and blankets, the toy box was my daughter's from when she was 6 months old, I have recovered and hope it lasts another 35 yrs 🥰

I loved your parent first.
Before the gray hairs.
Before the tired eyes.
Before the strength they didn’t know they had.

I loved them when they were small enough
to fall asleep on my chest,
when their cries felt urgent,
when their laughter felt like oxygen.

I loved them through scraped knees
and broken hearts,
through seasons I knew how to fix
and seasons I didn’t.

I loved them when I was younger—
when I thought time was endless
and worried less about how fast it all went.

And then one day,
they grew up.

And somehow,
the child I once rocked
became the one rocking you.

So when I hold you now,
I’m holding two stories at once.

I see the baby you are,
and the baby they once were.
I feel the weight of years
press gently into my arms.

Your eyes carry echoes of theirs.
Your cry stirs memories
I thought time had tucked away.

You don’t know it yet,
but you arrived carrying legacy.
You arrived holding prayers
that were whispered long before you existed.

Every mistake I made with your parent,
every lesson I learned the hard way,
every moment I wished I could redo—
they all shaped the love
I give you now.

I love you with softer hands.
With wiser patience.
With a heart that knows
how fast this season passes.

So when I linger,
when I watch you closely,
when my eyes fill without warning—

We will never go through the move process ever again it was pure hell from start to finish.
We are finally here and my goodness it was so worth it, we are busy decorating and constantly trying to find stuff 😂, we couldn't be happier and we pinch ourselves every day we wake up to this lovely view.
I'm really missing the horses and looking forward to seeing them tomorrow yayyyy , also I can't wait to get back to creating gorgeous memory bears missing their little faces.
It's going to be a good 5-6 weeks before I can set up a little corner, and hopefully start sharing more gorgeous Memory Bears with you all, in the meantime I am going to enjoy looking at all the creations from 2025 and share those with you.
