Today was interview day for the Solopreneur Awards and a 10 hour round trip to Gatwick.
Not because that's where the interviews were taking place but to pick Travel with Cait up.
You see we are both finalists and thankful the interviews are on zoom which means you can be anywhere in the world and still attend your interview.
Mine was a car park in Horley - perfect little drop of and pickup if you are flying from Gatwick as it's only one stop on the train with none of grief.
Caitlin's was at the Oxford services on the M40 - depending on traffic and whether her flight was delayed etc, depended on when we would stop and that was the last one we could do for her to make her interview time.
So all done and now we wait for the 9 October to see if either of us are winners - but just by being finalists together is a win for me.
