🏆 **WHAT A WEEKEND! WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS! 🏆**

What an incredible achievement for Macánta Pipe Band and Bready Ulster Scots Pipe Band at the World Pipe Band Championships, both supplied by Cords and Covers! 🎶

🥇 Macanta — Grade 3A Champions
🥇 Bready Ulster Scots — Grade 4B Champions

I’m especially proud to say that I was part of the Bready Ulster Scots band in what was only my 4th competition after returning to competing after a 10 year absence.🏆❤️💙

And from a Cords and Covers point of view, there’s another achievement that makes this weekend even more special…

2 of the 6 Adult Grade World Championship winners were using Cords and Covers supplied bag covers!👏

Finishing off a busy week, I have to share this stunning white with gold braid banner. If truth be told, it’s the first white banner I’ve ever made and it’s amazing!!

The biggest challenge I found with this was keeping it clean during the manufacturing process.

New bag covers provided for St. Joseph's Pipe Band, Clondalkin who achieved a fantastic 6th place in yesterday’s Grade 2 Scottish Championship. Covers made from Navy Sunbrella and fitted with Silver braid, Non Slip Patches, zip and velcro and finished with band embroidery logo.

New bag covers provided for Macánta Pipe Band from England. Macanta compete in Grade 3A and have had some impressive results in the grade already this year, using Cords and Covers supplied covers.

These Sunbrella covers are proving to be a hit with bands and solo pipers alike. It is an exceptional fabric. UV Resistant, waterproof, durable and breathable. All the qualities you need in a bag cover!

Celebrating a remarkable milestone for Sinclair Memorial Pipe Band, Newtownstewart, County Tyrone, as they proudly mark 75 years of music and tradition, during the 2026 season.

To help commemorate the occasion, Cords and Covers has produced a bespoke anniversary banner, which will accompany the band throughout the 2026 season. The banner will make its debut at the Sinclairs Parade in Newtownstewart on 6th June 2026, and we look forward to seeing it on display at various events and parades throughout the year.
